About DELC

Dallas Everest Lions club is proud to be the first Nepali Lions Club chartered by Nepali community in Dallas Fort-Worth metropolis. It has been serving to the community since its establishment in April 2003. DELC constantly endeavors of educating poor and needy students in Nepal besides supporting DFW Nepali community. The club also helps promote Nepali culture and heritage through hosting various fun raising programs on foreign soil.

Home Away From Home

DELC is a growing non-profit organization where the lion’s members get together twice a week and carry out a regular meeting. Besides the regular meeting, DELC organizes picnic and pot-luck programs to rejoice great occasions and share the pain and sorrow. All the members are young energetic and support each other to serve the world with Lions slogan "We Serve".

DLEC organizes an annul fund raising event called "An Evening in Nepal". The objective of this program is to generate the funds for its major projects. This program also helps to play a crucial roles in promoting Nepali culture and traditions in the USA. Furthermore, it helped to grow harmony among the people of the two countries.

Dallas Everest Lions Club, the regular meeting has decided to contribute $300 (Three Hundred Dollars) to "KARUNA AASHRAM" in Bhaktapur, Nepal. KARUNA AASHRAM is a non-profit Senior Home where they provide food, shelter and healthcare to the senior and retired citizen.
